Keychain Memory Card Reader/USB Flash Drive

I want one of these…

It’s a really inexpensive way to turn any memory card (like those used in digital cameras, mp3 players, camcorders, etc.) into a transportable hard drive (aka a flash drive) to store files, pictures, etc. — or to transfer things from one computer to another.

I have about a dozen 8 MB, 16MB and larger Compact Flash and SD memory cards lying around. Most of them came with various electronic gadgets we’ve purchased through the years.

Now, I can turn any unused memory card into a dirt-cheap USB thumb drive!

How it Works…

Simply purchase a unique Keychain Memory Card Reader made for the particular type of memory card that you have on hand — either SmartMedia, Memory Stick, CompactFlash, eXtreme Digital, Secure Digital.

They’re cheap too – no matter which one you choose!

These make great gifts, or a great way for you yourself to use all of the different types of memory cards you already have.

What a cool idea! Thanks to Steve Bass for the heads up on this one…
